Clergy Boundary Training 201 - 11/17/2020
• Prerequisite: Clergy Boundary Training 101 formerly known as Clergy Sexual Ethics Boundary. This training will focus on maintaining healthy boundaries with the internet, social media, finance, attraction and self-care and a review of power and vulnerability Join your colleagues and explore the many dilemmas pastors, church staff, congregational leaders and parishioners face in their relationship. Presenters, Brandon Austin and Jay Pierce, have been trained by the Faith Trust Institute to lead: Healthy Boundaries 201—Beyond the Basics. The training includes a work book, DVD presentations and discussion. CEU’s: .75 CEUs are awarded in the Area of Clergy Boundaries Date, Time & Location: Online Tuesday, November 17 from 8:45 a.m. -5:00 p.m. Please note: Registration Deadline is November 3 in order to allow time for materials to be mailed. Equipment needed: We will be using ZOOM and break out rooms. Each participant must have reliable internet connection, an electronic device that allows you to speak as well as be seen (turn on the video) and use the chat room. We also ask that you bring patience and a positive attitude. This training is designed to be in person and we are doing our best to adapt it to online. Target Audience: All those serving under appointment and assignment (Elders, Deacons, TBA’s, Provisioners, Local Pastors, Certified Lay Speakers, etc), Church Staff, Youth Leaders, SPRC Members, Sunday School Teachers and others in position of leadership in church settings and appointment settings.
