General Conference Commission Takes Action Following Task Force Review

The Commission on the General Conference, meeting April 7-9 in Lexington, KY, voted to implement new registration and credentialing procedures for General Conference delegates to safeguard against the possibility of unauthorized voting. The action was taken after an independent auditing firm, LBMC, with the assistance of an independent outside legal firm, found "credible objective evidence" that four ineligible persons cast votes at GC2019, using the credentials of delegates who were not present.
